Level 6 Nursery Teacher – Full‑time

About the role

A primary school in Chiswick is looking for a qualified Nursery Teacher to lead a small class of 12 children from September 2026. The role is full‑time, on‑site, and offers the chance to work within a supportive early years environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small Nursery class of 12 children, supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant.
• Plan and deliver learning activities in line with the EYFS Framework.
• Support children’s development across all areas of learning, including communication, language, social and emotional skills.
• Create a stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environment.
• Monitor progress, contribute to assessments and produce reports.
• Work closely with families and support staff.

Required profile

• Qualified Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised Level 6 Early Years qualification.
• Experience working in a Nursery or Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
