LGV Class 2 Driver – Full‑time (Rainham)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced LGV Class 2 driver to join Sharp Skips, a family‑run business with over 43 years in the skip‑bin industry. The role involves delivering and collecting skip bins across the South East, providing a reliable service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive LGV Class 2 vehicles to deliver and collect skip bins at various locations.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and ensure compliance with legal regulations.
• Record deliveries, customer interactions and complete necessary paperwork.
• Assist with loading and unloading of skips when required.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.

Required profile

• Valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• At least one year of LGV Class 2 driving experience.
• CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Good driving record and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating LGV Class 2 vehicles.
• Knowledge of CPC regulations and digital tachograph usage.

What we offer

• Standard rate £15.25 per hour (Monday‑Friday 7 am‑4:30 pm).
• Overtime rate £22.90 per hour (before 7 am, after 4:30 pm and Saturdays).
• Attendance bonus £22.50 per day.
• Incentive payment £15 per day, Monday‑Saturday, paid monthly.
