LGV Driver – Full‑time Night Shift

About the role

DPD is seeking a reliable LGV Driver to join its national transport team in Southall. You will operate a modern fleet, handling bulk collections and deliveries between DPD sites and major customers across the UK, primarily on night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on LGV‑friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and digital tachographs to follow routes and maintain 100% compliance.
• Maintain professional relationships with dispatchers and customers.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritize safe driving in all conditions.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) licence, CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety‑first mindset.
• Resourceful problem‑solver able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
