Liability Adjuster (Southwest)

About the role

Our client, a specialist claims handling firm in South West England, is seeking a Liability Adjuster to join their elite team. You will work on complex EL/PL injury and property damage claims, applying technical expertise and analytical rigour.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage intricate liability claims from initial intake through settlement.
• Analyse policy wording, legal precedents and medical reports to determine liability.
• Prepare detailed reports and communicate findings to clients, insurers and legal teams.
• Collaborate with senior adjusters and subject‑matter experts to resolve challenging cases.
• Maintain accurate records in the claims management system.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Liability Adjuster handling EL/PL claims.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex policy language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a passion for intellectual challenge.

Required skills

• CII certification (or equivalent).
