Liability Loss Adjuster (North/North East)

About the role

An experienced Liability Adjuster is needed to join the growing Casualty division of a global loss adjusting firm. You will manage your own portfolio of liability losses, including Employers’ Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL) and Third‑Party Property Damage (TPPD) across the North and North‑East region.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with insurers, policyholders and brokers.
• Conduct thorough investigations within the assigned geographical area.
• Gather evidence, take witness statements, photographs and videos.
• Prepare detailed technical reports covering policy indemnity, legal liability and quantum.
• Defend and negotiate settlements within authority limits.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a field liability adjuster.
• Background handling EL and PL loss types.
• Technically minded with strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Full clean driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with insurer software and related IT systems.
