Licensed Conveyancer – Residential Property Law

About the role

A modern mid‑sized property law firm in central London is seeking multiple qualified Residential Conveyancing Lawyers to join in Autumn 2026. You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters with the support of a dedicated paralegal, working either on‑site or in a hybrid model.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 70‑100 residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion.
• Handle sales and purchase transactions for both freehold and leasehold properties.
• Process transfers of equity and remortgage transactions.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progress.
• Work closely with an assigned paralegal to maximise efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, including the Building Safety Act where applicable.

Required profile

• UK‑qualified residential conveyancing professional (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive).
• Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification experience (2 PQE).
• Ability to work independently on a high‑volume caseload.
• Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing law and practice.
• Familiarity with London‑based transactions is advantageous.
