Licensed Station Engineer - London Heathrow

About the role

Etihad Airways is expanding its Line Maintenance International (LMI) function and seeks an experienced Licensed Station Engineer to be based at London Heathrow. The role involves certifying and performing aircraft maintenance activities while ensuring safety, compliance and operational performance across the airline’s international network.

Key responsibilities

• Certify and carry out aircraft maintenance in line with approved technical data and regulatory standards.
• Maintain aircraft exterior and interior cabin standards to meet world‑class airline expectations.
• Monitor and control Line Maintenance International expenditure to ensure cost‑effective use of resources.
• Support on‑time performance targets while upholding airworthiness and safety.
• Apply latest technologies and innovations to improve maintenance efficiency.

Required profile

• High School Leaving Certificate or university/college qualification.
• Holder of a GCAA licence (or convertible) with Level 3 authorisation on two Etihad aircraft types.
• Minimum 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 3 years in a line‑maintenance environment.
