Lifeguard – Full‑time at Minehead Waterpark

About the role

Join the busy Splash Waterworld at Butlin's as a Lifeguard, keeping guests safe while they enjoy the slides, wave pool and swimming zones. This full‑time position puts you at the heart of the resort’s entertainment, working evenings and weekends to ensure a fun and secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor pool areas, water slides and wave pool for guest safety.
• Respond promptly to any emergency or rescue situation.
• Supervise poolside activities and enforce safety rules.
• Assist with the setup and operation of poolside events.
• Maintain a clean and orderly pool environment.

Required profile

• Strong and confident swimmer.
• Excellent awareness and attention to detail.
• Calm under pressure and able to communicate clearly.
• Physically active and able to work evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• First‑aid awareness (preferred).
• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) – support provided if not held.
