Lifestyle Activities Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Lifestyle Activities Coordinator to join our team at Willows Care Home in Milton Keynes. You will design and deliver a varied programme of activities that enhances the wellbeing of our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and lead daily and weekly activities for residents, both on‑site and off‑site.
• Collaborate with care staff, families and external organisations to tailor activities to individual needs.
• Develop partnerships with local schools, community groups, churches and charities to broaden activity options.
• Maintain activity records, evaluate participation and adjust programmes accordingly.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met during all activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role or in a caring environment is desirable.
• Highly organised, reliable and able to work independently.
• Positive, “can‑do” attitude with a genuine passion for improving older people’s lives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Ability to plan and coordinate events.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families and community partners.
• Basic health and safety awareness.

What we offer

• Hourly rate £13.45‑£14.15 depending on experience.
• 35‑hour week, Monday‑Friday 8 am‑3 pm.
• 28 days holiday including bank holidays.
