Lifestyle Assistant – 12‑Month Part‑Time Contract

About the role

Join Hallmark Luxury Care Homes as a Lifestyle Assistant on a 12‑month contract. You will help create a vibrant, welcoming environment for residents, supporting their physical, mental and emotional well‑being through engaging activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver daily activities and events for residents.
• Encourage participation in social, recreational and therapeutic programmes.
• Support residents with personal interests and hobbies, fostering independence.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure activities align with individual care plans.
• Maintain activity records and report any concerns to senior staff.

Required profile

• Friendly, compassionate and genuinely interested in connecting with residents.
• Ability to work part‑time on a flexible schedule.
• Previous experience in a care home or similar environment is advantageous but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Organisational skills to plan and execute activities.
• Basic health and safety awareness.
