Lift Engineer

About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Lift Engineer to join a well‑established lift engineering business serving the Gloucestershire area. The role offers a regular service route, modern equipment and clear pathways for long‑term career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a wide range of lift equipment across an assigned patch.
• Work on a standby rota, responding flexibly to customer requirements.
• Use smartphones and tablets to manage jobs and complete electronic paperwork.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 or 4 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering, or currently working towards it.
• Proven experience in lift service, maintenance and repair.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Based in or around Gloucestershire, or willing to relocate.

Required skills

• Fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience with modern MRL traction lifts and equipment from multiple manufacturers.
• Competence using smartphones and tablets for electronic job management.
