Lift Engineer – Service & Maintenance (Glasgow)

About the role

Stannah, a market‑leading family‑run lift company, is seeking a qualified Lift Engineer to cover a service route across Glasgow. You will work Monday to Thursday 08:00‑16:45 and Friday 08:00‑15:45, delivering maintenance, repairs and call‑outs on a variety of industrial lifts.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance, emergency call‑outs and minor repairs on lifts.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards on every site.
• Complete risk assessments and keep accurate site log cards.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call rota (one week in four) and receive standby and call‑out allowances.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering.
• Proven experience working as a Lift Engineer or Service Engineer.
• Valid UK driving licence.
