Lift Engineer – Talent Pool (Buckinghamshire)

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing of lift equipment, including minor repairs and component replacement following approved procedures.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on lifts during breakdowns, ensuring correct functioning of speed, motor start/stop, weight, noise, temperature and power supplies.
• Perform routine inspections and adjustments in line with company standards and complete all service documentation.
• Conduct advanced fault‑finding and diagnostic procedures using technical manuals and test equipment.
• Undertake site surveys and assist with reinstating lifts to service after maintenance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in lift servicing, maintenance or repairs (preferred).
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Maintenance or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, with experience on multi‑brand equipment.
• Excellent fault‑finding, diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and maintain high efficiency.
