Lift Repair Engineer

About the role

We are a well‑known lift service, installation and repair company seeking a Lift Repair Engineer to support our growing portfolio in London. You will be the on‑site technical representative, ensuring lifts operate safely and efficiently for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a lift repair engineer team covering the London area.
• Attend lift breakdowns and carry out planned servicing and maintenance.
• Provide service and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) work at customer sites.
• Offer technical support and advice to maximise first‑time fix rates.
• Maintain a professional image as a company ambassador on site.
• Travel throughout the coverage area to meet client needs.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Lift Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Lift Service or Maintenance Engineer.
• Relevant certifications such as J Modules.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Fault finding on passenger and goods lifts.
• Diagnosis and repair of lift systems.
• Repair of passenger lifts.
• Repair of goods lifts.
• Knowledge of J Modules.
