Lift Service Engineer – Central London

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Lift Service Engineer to join our team covering Central London. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing passenger and goods lifts, ensuring reliable service for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own lift service route, primarily in Guildford and surrounding areas.
• Attend lift breakdowns and carry out planned servicing and preventive maintenance (PPM) work.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers, aiming for a high first‑time‑fix rate.
• Maintain a professional image as a company ambassador on site.
• Travel throughout the coverage area to service customer sites.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Lift Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Lift Service or Maintenance Engineer.
• Relevant additional qualifications such as J‑Modules.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and well‑organised.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Fault finding on lift systems.
• Diagnosis of lift faults.
• Repair of passenger lifts.
• Repair of goods lifts.
