Lift Service Engineer – East London

About the role

We are seeking a Lift Service Engineer to join our team covering East London. The role involves managing a dedicated service route, responding to breakdowns and performing planned maintenance on passenger and goods lifts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own lift service route in the East London area.
• Attend lift breakdowns and carry out planned servicing and maintenance.
• Deliver service and PPM work at customer sites.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers, aiming for a high first‑time fix rate.
• Maintain a professional image as a company ambassador on site.
• Travel throughout the coverage area as required.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Lift Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Lift Service or Maintenance Engineer.
• Relevant certifications such as J Modules.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of passenger lifts.
• Fault finding, diagnosis and repair of goods lifts.
• Knowledge of J Modules for lift control systems.
