Lift Service Engineer

About the role

We are a well‑known lift service, installation and repair company seeking a motivated Lift Service Engineer to join our growing team covering East London. You will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of lifts, responding to breakdowns and delivering scheduled maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own service route across Whitechapel, Shoreditch and surrounding East London areas.
• Attend lift breakdowns and carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Provide service and PPM work at customer sites, ensuring high first‑time‑fix rates.
• Offer technical support and advice to customers on lift performance and safety.
• Travel throughout the coverage area using your own vehicle.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Lift Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Lift Service or Maintenance Engineer.
• Relevant certifications such as J Modules.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and well‑organised.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
