Lift Service Engineer – Manchester

About the role

We are a well‑known lift service, installation and repair company seeking an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join our growing team in Manchester. You will manage your own service route, respond to breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance to keep our customers' lifts running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an assigned lift service route across Manchester.
• Attend lift breakdowns and perform planned servicing and maintenance.
• Provide service and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) work at customer sites.
• Offer technical support and advice to customers, aiming to maximise first‑time fix rates.
• Travel throughout the coverage area as required.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Lift Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Lift Service or Maintenance Engineer.
• Relevant certifications such as J Modules.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and well‑organised.
