Lifting Industry Trainer

About the role

Certex UK is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Lifting Industry Trainer to join its Great Yarmouth team. The role involves delivering high‑quality lifting and lifting equipment training, both classroom‑based and practical, to customers across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training courses covering lifting equipment and operations, providing both theoretical and practical instruction, assessing delegate competency and maintaining training records.
• Maintain and develop training materials, ensuring they remain aligned with current legislation, standards and industry guidance.
• Build positive relationships with customers, represent Certex UK on‑site and at training locations, understand client requirements and contribute to an excellent training experience.

Required profile

• Significant experience in the lifting industry with strong knowledge of lifting equipment, operations and LOLER regulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, confident delivering training to groups with varying levels of experience.
• Full UK driving licence, willingness to travel and residence within a daily commuting distance of Great Yarmouth.

Required skills

• Lifting equipment inspection and thorough examination.
• LOLER report production and certification.
• Proficient IT skills.
