Light Assembly Operative

About the role

We are recruiting for a Light Assembly Operative to join a well‑established manufacturing company in the South West. The role involves assembling small components on a clean, bench‑based environment, using hand tools and simple work instructions. No prior assembly experience is required – full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble small components and products using hand tools and assembly equipment
• Carry out light wiring and basic assembly tasks
• Follow straightforward work instructions and quality standards
• Inspect finished items to ensure they meet quality requirements
• Maintain a tidy and organised workstation
• Collaborate with a supportive production team

Required profile

• Enjoy practical, hands‑on work and building or repairing things
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• Reliable, punctual and eager to learn
• Good team player who can follow instructions
