Linen Porter

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Linen Porter to join our team at Parkdean Resorts in Clacton‑on‑Sea. You will ensure that our holiday homes are supplied with fresh linen, kept clean, and presented to the highest standard for guests and owners.

Key responsibilities

• Jet wash holiday homes and clean carpets, upholstery and exterior surfaces.
• Receive, check and record deliveries of fresh linen, reporting any discrepancies.
• Manage linen inventory, conduct weekly stock takes and prepare linen for guest arrivals.
• Collect dirty linen, sort it and coordinate its collection for cleaning.
• Deliver, retrieve, clean and sanitise hire‑goods equipment.
• Perform vehicle and equipment checks, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Report maintenance, structural or mechanical defects to the Maintenance Manager.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Capability to work at a fast pace and follow complex work plans.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Positive, friendly attitude and good communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
