Linux Systems Engineer (RedHat) – Hybrid, London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Engineer to join a highly skilled team responsible for a large‑scale, globally deployed RedHat Linux platform. The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite in London, and offers the chance to work on enterprise‑level infrastructure, automation and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance a global RedHat Linux infrastructure.
• Develop, manage and optimise Linux platform management systems.
• Implement infrastructure as code using automation best practices.
• Design, build and improve platform features and system configurations.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, OS, networking and storage.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and business stakeholders to deliver enhancements.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new infrastructure solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience with RedHat/Linux and low‑level UNIX system calls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across enterprise infrastructure.
• Excellent communication ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
