Litigated File Handler – Counter Fraud (Full‑time)

About the role
Keoghs LLP is seeking an experienced Litigated File Handler to join its counter‑fraud division. You will manage a caseload of litigated road‑traffic‑accident (RTA) fraud files for a range of insurance clients, working closely with senior lawyers and fraud specialists.
Key responsibilities
- Run fraud cases from litigation start to resolution, adhering to client‑defined strategies and internal processes.
- Analyse evidence, set case strategy, and identify strategic litigation opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with insurer clients and liaise with all parties involved in investigations.
- Ensure compliance with procedural deadlines, court timetables and SRA regulations.
- Delegate tasks to assistants, manage case‑management systems, and produce accurate billing and MI reports.
Required profile
- Experience in civil litigation claims handling or as a legal File Handler (ILEX, LPC or equivalent).
- Understanding of insurance litigation practice, indemnity principles and the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and make commercial‑sound decisions.
- Qualified solicitor or CILEX lawyer is desirable but not essential.
