Litigation Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Litigation Lawyer to join a well‑known Essex law firm on a full‑time basis. The role offers flexible hybrid working and a clear career path within a respected practice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload, including debt recovery, negligence claims, landlord‑tenant disputes, boundary and property matters.
• Provide expert advice and representation to clients throughout all stages of litigation.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering high‑quality service and communication.
• Undertake marketing activities to grow the firm’s client base.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in civil litigation.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage cases independently.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience in civil litigation matters such as debt recovery, negligence, landlord‑tenant, boundary and property disputes.
