Litigation Solicitor – Civil & Commercial Dispute Resolution

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a respected regional law firm’s thriving litigation department. You will handle a diverse portfolio of high‑quality dispute resolution matters, working closely with partners and senior solicitors to deliver exceptional client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage civil, commercial, contractual, property, debt recovery, probate, professional negligence and ADR matters from instruction through to conclusion.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, statements of case, witness statements and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research, attend hearings and represent clients in court and tribunals.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers to develop case strategy and ensure timely delivery of work.
• Liaise with clients, providing clear updates and advice throughout the litigation process.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 1–5 years post‑qualification experience (NQ considered with strong litigation exposure).
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of litigation and dispute‑resolution areas.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
• Excellent communication, drafting and client‑care skills.
• Commitment to high‑quality work and long‑term client relationships.
