Litigation Solicitor

About the role

Our client, a well‑established legal practice in Romford, is expanding its litigation department and seeks a motivated Litigation Solicitor. The role offers the chance to work on a diverse caseload and progress quickly, with the potential to become a Director within a few years.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of litigation matters for commercial and individual clients, including contested probate, landlord‑tenant disputes, breach of contract, debt recovery, property and commercial disputes.
• Use the LEAP case management system to track and progress matters efficiently.
• Develop and maintain strong client and referrer relationships through proactive communication and networking.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of the department.
• Meet reasonable billing targets and daily task objectives while maintaining high standards of client care.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in general litigation and dispute resolution.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and achieve career goals.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with a professional yet approachable demeanor.
• Self‑motivated team player with ambition to progress to senior leadership.
• Local residence within a 30‑mile radius of Romford, able to commute daily.

Required skills

• Experience with the LEAP case management system.
