Litigation Solicitor – Property & Private Client

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Solicitor to join a modern, well‑regarded firm in East London. The role offers exposure to a broad portfolio of property, probate, dispute resolution and employment matters, with clear pathways for promotion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage property disputes, including ownership, boundary, service‑charge and right‑to‑manage claims.
• Handle landlord‑and‑tenant matters for both residential and commercial clients, such as possession, eviction and lease renewal proceedings.
• Conduct probate work, inheritance claims and validity challenges.
• Oversee miscellaneous debt recovery and building dispute cases.
• Produce high‑quality legal documentation and liaise with clients and third parties.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 year post‑qualification experience (PQE) in litigation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously under supervision.
• Excellent communication, administrative and organisational abilities.
• Willingness to meet departmental billing targets.
