Litigation Solicitor – Property & Private Client

About the role

This full‑time position is for an experienced Litigation Solicitor specialising in property and private client matters. Based in the South East, the role offers the chance to work across residential and commercial property disputes, wills, probate, and related areas while benefiting from clear promotion pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Handle property disputes such as ownership, boundary, right‑of‑way, service charge and right‑to‑manage claims.
• Manage landlord‑and‑tenant matters for residential and commercial properties, including possession, eviction and lease renewal proceedings.
• Resolve probate disputes, including inheritance and will‑validity challenges.
• Oversee miscellaneous litigation including debt recovery and building disputes.
• Provide legal advice, draft documents and represent clients in court or tribunals.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 year post‑qualification experience (PQE) in litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high‑quality work with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capable of working autonomously while meeting departmental billing targets.
• Strong communication, organisational and administrative abilities.

Required skills

• Litigation handling across property, probate and private client matters.
• Experience with landlord‑and‑tenant dispute resolution.
• Proficiency in preparing legal documentation and court submissions.
