Litter Picker – Outdoor Clean‑up Role

About the role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Litter Picker to keep streets, parks, beaches and other public spaces clean and welcoming. This is a physically demanding outdoor position that works in all weather conditions, playing a vital part in maintaining a tidy environment for residents and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Collect litter in streets, parks, beaches and other public areas.
- Empty litter and dog‑waste bins.
- Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of public spaces.
- Report fly‑tipping, vandalism and health‑and‑safety concerns.
- Use litter‑picking equipment safely and correctly.
- Work as part of a team to meet cleanliness standards.
Required profile
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
- Positive attitude and team‑oriented mindset.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in cleaning, environmental services or similar outdoor work is advantageous.
