Live Built Manufacturing Technician – Defense Sector

About the role
We are seeking a Live Built Manufacturing Technician to join a world‑class defence manufacturing business. The role is contract‑based, site‑based in the Henlow/Stevenage area and involves carrying out manufacturing, testing and inspection tasks within the Live Build Facility.
Key responsibilities
- Certify products in line with the product certification procedure.
- Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits.
- Ensure manufacturing build, inspection and, where relevant, test times are met.
- Uphold the highest workmanship standards and product quality.
Required profile
- Approved Apprenticeship/Apprenticeship Framework/Modern Apprenticeship or Vocational NVQ3 with further education.
- BTEC ONC/HNC in a relevant engineering/manufacturing subject.
- Experience in mechanical fitting or maintenance within a highly regulated sector.

What we offer
