Live-out Housekeeper – South Kensington

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Live-out Housekeeper to join an ultra‑high‑net‑worth family residence in South Kensington, London. Working Monday to Friday, you will become part of a fully staffed household team, reporting to the Head Housekeeper and supporting a luxurious four‑floor home with eight en‑suite bedrooms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain impeccable daily housekeeping standards throughout the residence.
• Perform deep‑cleaning and seasonal projects to the highest level of detail.
• Manage laundry, wardrobe, and specialist garment care, including hand‑washing, delicate fabrics, pressing and ironing.
• Prepare simple meals, provide light lunches and offer kitchen support, covering the Private Chef when needed.
• Assist with informal service duties and occasional guest reception.
• Care for the family’s dogs, including feeding and garden access.
• Monitor and organise housekeeping supplies and stores.
• Anticipate family needs proactively and exceed expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience in a luxury private household or five‑star hospitality environment.
• Outstanding housekeeping and laundry expertise, especially with luxury fabrics and fine linens.
• Immaculate attention to detail and a proactive, self‑motivated attitude.
• Ability to work discreetly, professionally and as a collaborative team player.
• Fluent spoken English; pet‑friendly.
