Live-out Rota Housekeeper

About the role

Tiger Recruitment is seeking an experienced live‑out housekeeper to join a private household in South Kensington. The role is full‑time, working a 5‑days‑on/5‑days‑off rota alongside an existing housekeeper, supporting a couple, their one‑year‑old child and two cats.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full housekeeping duties across a four‑storey townhouse, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and presentation.
• Daily cleaning, tidying and upkeep of all living areas.
• Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management.
• Prepare simple, healthy family meals, preferably Mediterranean‑style, and assist with baby meal preparation following a no‑sugar/no‑salt policy.
• Maintain high‑quality food and household products, favouring glass packaging where possible.
• Provide light pet care, including feeding cats, refreshing water and cleaning litter trays.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a housekeeper in private households, luxury chalets, yachts or similar environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Comfortable preparing healthy meals and following specific dietary guidelines.
• Comfortable around cats and able to perform basic pet care.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Ability to prepare simple, healthy family meals (Mediterranean‑style preferred).
• Basic cat care, including feeding and litter maintenance.
