Loan Administrator

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing short‑term lender to find a Loan Administrator to support their loan processing team in London. The role is hybrid, with four days on‑site and one day remote, offering a dynamic environment where you will interact with brokers, applicants and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Issue loan terms to brokers and liaise with them on new and existing loans.
• Communicate with applicants, chase outstanding items and maintain high‑quality customer service.
• Create and manage loan files, including conducting credit searches.
• Coordinate with the valuation panel to arrange property valuations.
• Complete post‑completion loan tasks and keep all records and systems up to date.
• Work closely with other departments and stay informed of best practice and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a confident telephone manner.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Ability to work to tight timeframes and be proactive.
• Team‑player attitude with a focus on delivering high‑level service.
