Loan Operations & Documentation Specialist (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Delta Capita is supporting a leading international bank on a loan portfolio transfer programme. The role involves end‑to‑end execution of syndicated loan transfers, from documentation and system updates to agent and counter‑party communication and settlement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Transfer Certificates in line with LMA standards and manage transfer mechanics to meet deadlines.
• Analyse credit agreements to identify consent conditions, minimum transfer amounts, restrictions and permitted transferee provisions.
• Draft and issue Pricing Letters applying secondary loan market pricing conventions.
• Execute Loan IQ circling, booking and maintenance to keep facility records accurate throughout the transfer.
• Act as primary contact with agent banks, submitting documentation, tracking consents and managing the agency process.
• Liaise with buying counterparties, resolve queries and clear blockers to ensure timely settlement.
• Own quality checks across the full transfer pack, validating documentation and data before execution.

Required profile

• Experience in syndicated loan operations, loan agency or secondary loan trading support within a bank, agency provider or asset manager.
• Demonstrable secondary‑loan market experience, having executed sales and transfers of loan assets.
• Working knowledge of LMA documentation, especially Transfer Certificates and Pricing Letters.
• Understanding of syndicated lending agency processes and how agent banks operate during a transfer.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to validate documentation and data under tight deadlines.
• Confident written and verbal communication with external counterparties, agent banks and internal Front Office stakeholders.
• Immediate availability and a valid UK work permit.
• Experience with the Loan IQ system.
