Loans Operations Specialist – 12-Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Loans Operations Specialist to join our high‑performing lending operations team on a 12‑month contract. The role involves managing the execution, documentation, booking, and servicing of complex loan transactions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review loan documentation for alignment with bank policies, procedures, and approved credit terms.
• Verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency of loan documents before closing.
• Support booking and funding of loan transactions within agreed timelines using LoanIQ.
• Maintain robust record‑keeping throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Enter and maintain financial and documentation data in LoanIQ and other systems, performing quality checks to minimise risk.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and documentation queries.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Credit, Legal, Compliance, Front Office) and external parties (legal counsel, agents, vendors, clients).
• Identify, assess, and escalate documentation issues, risks, and control concerns.
• Contribute to operational improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in loan operations and documentation review.
• Strong understanding of the LoanIQ booking process.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and risk awareness.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
