Local Operations Manager – French Speaking

About the role

Cheil is seeking a French‑speaking Local Operations Manager to join its Global Delivery team. You will act as the primary liaison between the global client team, Cheil, and the local market, ensuring smooth communication and coordination for website initiatives. The role involves managing end‑to‑end deployment of new e‑commerce features, traveling to the client region quarterly, and operating under a one‑year fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end deployment of new website features and programs across e‑commerce platforms.
• Align scope definition with central teams to minimise business impact and ensure compliance with global standards.
• Manage market input phase, preparing and validating content matrices.
• Conduct User Validation Tests (UVTs) and smoke testing to guarantee quality before launch.
• Coordinate daily and weekly activities with supply teams to ensure product availability and timely updates.
• Serve as liaison between local market teams and central/global teams for smooth execution.
• Investigate website issues, open and track help‑desk requests, and ensure timely bug resolution.
• Perform regular order‑flow sanity checks, identify anomalies and escalate to relevant teams.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of e‑commerce platforms and website operations.
• Experience in testing (UVT, smoke testing) and quality‑assurance processes.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Problem‑solving mindset with ability to manage technical investigations.
• Self‑motivated autodidact capable of becoming a key player locally and globally.
• Fluent written and spoken French.
