Locally Employed Obstetrics & Gynaecology Doctor (ST1-2)

About the role

The University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a locally employed doctor at ST1‑2 level to join its busy, tertiary Obstetrics and Gynaecology department. The role offers exposure to a wide range of clinical conditions, sub‑specialty services and strong academic support, including an allocated educational supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients in a tertiary teaching hospital.
• Participate in the department’s sub‑specialty clinics and on‑call rotas.
• Contribute to research and academic activities under the guidance of senior staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient pathways.

Required profile

• Medical qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, eligible for ST1‑2 training level.
• Registration with the General Medical Council and right to work in the UK.
• Commitment to delivering excellent patient care and to ongoing professional development.
• Interest in academic medicine and research.
