Locum Educational Psychologist – Hampshire

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Educational Psychologist to work on a locum basis in Hampshire. The primary focus is to carry out statutory assessments for schools experiencing a staffing shortage. This flexible, outside‑IR35 position allows you to set your own weekly schedule and work the number of days that suit you.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct statutory educational psychology assessments for pupils in Hampshire schools.
• Provide clear, evidence‑based reports and recommendations to support student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional and legal standards.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified in Educational Psychology.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Available to complete at least one assessment per month.
• Experience with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues is desirable.
