About the role

This locum position supports students in Wiltshire by delivering statutory educational psychology assessments. You will work flexibly, choosing the days you are available each week, and will be responsible for at least one assessment per month.

Key responsibilities

Conduct statutory educational psychology assessments for pupils.
Prepare clear, evidence‑based reports and recommendations.
Collaborate with schools, teachers, and families to support student outcomes.
Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality standards.

Required profile

Qualified educational psychologist.
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Availability to complete a minimum of one assessment each month.
Experience with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues is desirable.
