About the role
This temporary, home‑based position supports an independent fostering agency in the South West. The locum Supervising Social Worker will oversee a protected caseload of ten children, ensuring high‑quality outcomes for families.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, support and train foster carers.
- Manage a caseload of children in Bristol and surrounding areas.
- Build lasting, positive relationships to achieve the best outcomes for children.
Required profile
- Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Experience working within fostering.
