Logistics Administrator (5‑month temporary) – Start Aug 3

About the role

This 5‑month temporary position supports a globally recognised manufacturing business in Crewe. As a Logistics Administrator you will use SAP to ensure smooth order processing, procurement, and dispatch activities while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate customer orders and master data in SAP.
• Raise, monitor and follow up purchase orders with suppliers.
• Coordinate dispatch of goods with warehouse and logistics teams, monitoring delivery schedules.
• Generate invoices promptly after dispatch and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing order and delivery updates.
• Create and maintain part codes, stock records and other master data in SAP.
• Support colleagues with stock enquiries and SAP‑related queries.
• Perform general administrative duties to aid wider business operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience using SAP in a logistics, procurement or manufacturing environment.
• Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £13.35 (equivalent to £26,700 annualised).
• 36‑hour week, Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am‑4:30 pm (short Friday).
• Temporary contract from August to December 2026.
