Logistics Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Administrator to join a busy operations team in Loughton. The role supports both import and export activities, coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring all documentation is processed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments and liaise with freight providers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and customs documentation.
• Monitor logistics schedules and update internal tracking systems.
• Process goods‑in administration and keep accurate stock movement records.
• Manage transport‑related documentation and approve invoices.
• Maintain organised filing systems and support operational reporting.
• Build effective relationships with logistics partners and suppliers.
• Provide general administrative support to the wider operations team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an administrative, logistics, supply chain or operations support role.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
