Logistics Clerk – Manufacturing Site

About the role

Ecolab is looking for a Logistics Clerk to support daily shipment activities at its state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing site in Llantrisant, Wales. You will work within the UK Logistics team, ensuring product samples and orders reach customers efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate daily shipment of product samples and customer orders.
• Liaise with courier and freight forwarder companies (e.g., DHL, UPS, FedEx) to arrange shipments.
• Prepare and attach required documentation such as invoices, USDA certificates, Certificates of Analysis, Safety Data Sheets, and dispatch emails.
• Label, package, and ready samples/orders for dispatch.
• Coordinate with R&D, QC, QA, and production teams to ensure products are ready for shipment.
• Maintain health and safety standards and housekeeping in the dispatch area.
• Receive, review, and dispatch UK orders and AG orders from Romania, supporting invoicing processes.
• Prepare customs documentation for imports, adhering to Brexit guidelines for Romanian shipments.
• Review incoming stock receipts and keep accurate stock records.
• Work with transport partners and outsourced warehouses to manage inbound trucks, containers, and outbound order deliveries.
• Ensure timely pick, pack, and dispatch of orders through the outsourced warehouse.
• Perform additional duties as directed by management.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating logistics activities and handling shipment documentation.
• Familiarity with customs paperwork and import regulations.
• Ability to work closely with multiple internal departments and external service providers.
