Logistics Coordinator – Courier & Delivery Services

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Logistics Coordinator to join a fast‑paced courier and logistics provider in Cambridge. You will support domestic, international and same‑day delivery operations, ensuring shipments move smoothly and customers receive excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and provide high‑quality customer service.
• Process domestic and international shipments using carrier software – weigh consignments, print labels and issue tracking details.
• Handle quotations, bookings and enquiries via email, live chat and telephone.
• Allocate jobs to drivers and third‑party suppliers and monitor UK overnight and international shipments.
• Process proof of deliveries, check carrier invoices and perform general administrative duties.
• Liaise with storage clients and support warehouse activities when required.
• Identify opportunities to upsell services to customers.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑service or logistics environment (advantageous).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑focused with a proactive approach.
• Team player who can work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
