Logistics Executive – Night Shift

About the role

Join the Operations Department as a Logistics Executive on the night shift, supporting the smooth execution of road, air and sea freight at Heathrow. You will work a 4‑on‑4‑off schedule (19:00‑07:00) ensuring critical shipments, including AOG parts, meet customer and regulatory deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily night‑time operations across all freight modes, guaranteeing on‑time delivery.
• Prepare and verify import/export customs documentation and submissions.
• Provide accurate shipment status updates to customers.
• Source freight rates, prepare quotations and ensure correct job costing.
• Maintain supplier records and manage group mailboxes.
• Create customs entries, invoices and handle airline portal tasks (ASM, CDS).

Required profile

• Proven experience in time‑critical logistics or aviation environments.
• Strong understanding of AOG logistics and airline cargo procedures.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive under high‑pressure situations.
• Experience with HMRC customs processes and aviation security regulations.
• Capability to lead and prioritize workload overnight with minimal supervision.
