Logistics Level 1 Operative

About the role

As a Logistics Level 1 Operative at Prestwick Aerosystems, you will support aerospace manufacturing by managing the flow of materials through receipt, storage and shipment. You will work within a regulated environment to ensure accurate inventory and compliance with production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receipt, movement, storage and shipment of material in line with the Master Production Schedule.
• Accept and reject deliveries, verify purchase orders, certifications and handle non-conforming material.
• Perform weekly cycle counts and quarterly stock checks to maintain accurate records.
• Execute ERP (SAP) transactions to update material status, location and traceability.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of logistics processes including goods receipt, inventory control, material handling and dispatch.
• Ability to use ERP systems (SAP) for accurate stock recording.
• SVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or working towards it.
• Approval or ability to obtain approval to operate logistical equipment such as forklifts and cranes.
