Logistics Manager – Food Sector

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead the food supply chain for a well‑established company serving major retail clients. The role is office‑based in Bournemouth and offers autonomy over the end‑to‑end logistics process, from supplier confirmation to final delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full logistics and supply chain workflow, ensuring timely delivery of food products.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers and internal teams to maintain delivery schedules and product quality.
• Monitor supply chain performance, produce regular reports and update the Operations Manager.
• Manage inventory levels, stock control and ensure production deadlines are met.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role within the food industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory and stock control processes.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the logistics function.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
