Logistics & Transport Supervisor

About the role

Our client, a market‑leading organisation, is seeking a friendly, organised and proactive Logistics & Transport Supervisor to keep daily operations running smoothly in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assign drivers and vans, design cost‑effective daily routes and manage resource planning.
• Prepare all delivery documentation in Excel and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Monitor driver routes, update customers with ETA’s via tracking systems such as FedEx, DHL and UPS.
• Keep all logistics files and records organised and easily accessible.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, drivers and internal teams.
• Generate invoices using the internal invoicing system.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of logistics and freight forwarding.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to thrive under pressure.
• Excellent problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Willingness to assist with loading and unloading vehicles when needed.

Required skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience using FedEx, DHL and UPS tracking platforms.
• ADR training (desirable).
• Forklift operation training (desirable).
