Logistics & Warehouse Manager

About the role

We are partnering with an international business that is launching its UK operation. As the Logistics & Warehouse Manager you will lead the design and implementation of the logistics function, supporting a major build‑out of multiple warehouse sites over the next two years.

Key responsibilities

• Support the setup of several warehouse locations across the UK.
• Manage the inbound flow of high‑volume physical assets.
• Review, select and manage third‑party logistics (3PL) and warehouse partners.
• Assess the strategic balance between outsourced and in‑house logistics.
• Coordinate inbound logistics, stock movement, storage and onward distribution.
• Build processes, controls and reporting from scratch.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, couriers and 3PL providers.
• Identify risks, bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with senior leadership during rapid growth.
• Create scalable logistics processes to support long‑term UK expansion.

Required profile

• Strong experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, distribution or 3PL management.
• Proven ability to manage third‑party logistics providers and warehouse partners.
• Good understanding of stock movement, inbound logistics and warehouse operations.
• Commercial awareness and operational judgement to shape a logistics function during a growth phase.
