Long-Only Equity Analyst – Global Income (Buy‑Side)

About the role

Join a high‑conviction, long‑only equity team managing a £5bn Global Income fund. You will work closely with Portfolio Managers to generate ideas, conduct deep fundamental research and help shape the fund’s long‑term strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental equity research across global markets and sectors.
• Identify and develop differentiated, long‑term alpha ideas.
• Perform detailed company analysis, including business models, financial performance, competitive positioning and valuation.
• Support Portfolio Managers with idea generation, portfolio construction and investment discussions.
• Build and maintain relationships with company management and industry contacts.
• Produce high‑quality research reports and present recommendations to the investment team.
• Monitor existing holdings and reassess investment theses over time.
• Contribute to thematic research initiatives and identify broader market opportunities.

Required profile

• 3–8 years of global equity research experience, preferably on the buyside.
• Broad generalist equity coverage across sectors and geographies.
• Experience in thematic investing or long/short equity exposure is a plus.
• Background in entrepreneurial or boutique asset managers where independent idea generation is encouraged.
